See the March madness on the North Shore

It may be the off-season, but that hasn’t stopped Pipeline from pumping.
By Andrew Lewis

The North Shore of Oahu has never been a late bloomer. Come the Northern Hemisphere winter, the famous – and, sometimes, infamous – Seven Mile Miracle tends to crank the swell dial all the way up and not look back. This winter, however, has been a bit different.

Since 2017 kicked off, Pipeline has seen a string of epic swells, providing for locals, and those surfers who chose to stick around, one barrelfest after another. And Who Is JOB filmer and consumate dweller on the sands of Ehukai Beach Park, Damien Robertson, has all the action jammed into the edit above.

It was last month when things really lit up – for nearly a week straight. Surfers like Mason Ho, Koa Rothman, Dane Gudauskas, Billy Kemper, Nathan Florence and Koa Smith were under the spotlight, bagging the very best teepees to roll across the reef at Pipe. Enjoy the show!
