Who will outrun the fastest woman on two wheels?
Red Bull Foxhunt with Jeep is back for 2016. The world’s only all female downhill MTB event heads to Melmerby Scar, in the Eden Valley, Cumbria over the 1st & 2nd October with a pack of 200+ riders all set to try and outride the best female downhill racer in the world – Rachel Atherton.
Entries for Red Bull Foxhunt 2016 sold out in just 8 hours, with 200+ riders set to be involved in the chase.
The event takes place over the full weekend, in a festival of female downhill MTB action, with camping available from Friday night through to Sunday. For the first time, the Eden Valley will host the chase, with a new course at Melmerby Scar that will test rider's technical ability and competitive edge, as they look to stay ahead of Rachel over a challenging 2km course.
Speaking about the event, Rachel Atherton said, “I’m stoked to announce the return of Red Bull Foxhunt! The last two years have been so much fun and with a new venue this year it's going to be the best Foxhunt ever. I’m really looking forward to chasing down such a great crowd of women again – and to bettering my amount of overtakes from last year.”
