Back in 2005, Chris Pfeiffer was a tough-as-nails enduro rider competing in the Red Bull Hare Scramble on his GasGas EC 450. The year before, he’d won the event for the fourth time in his career, after taking victories in 1996, 1997 and 2000. Chris had started riding enduro races in 1996, having ridden trials when he was a teenager growing up in Germany, and had quickly gained notoriety as one of the top riders in the sport.

After putting the world of enduro riding behind him, Chris turned to stuntriding, and was recently wowing the crowds in the Pakistani cities of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. As career moves go, it’s been extremely fruitful. All those years of enduro riding gave Chris the skills to win four Stuntriding World Championships and four European titles, and he now travels the world showing off his awesome control on his BMW F800R. “I miss racing a bit, but for sure my main passion now is stuntriding,” says Chris. “Years ago, I had to decide between racing and stuntriding. I took the right decision with stunting.”

The Erzberg Rodeo takes place from 30th May to 2nd June in Eisenerz, Austria with current Red Bull Hare Scramble champion Jonny Walker hoping to repeat his win of 2012.
