The Amazon river and rainforest is infamous for its challenging jungle environment. But for competitors in the Red Bull Amazonia, the goal was not to survive – but to thrive, while chasing down 200km of a racecourse via foot, kayak and mountain bike in the heat of the jungle. Oh, and we're not kidding with heat – how would you feel about racing in temps ranging up to 36 degrees and 80% humidity? That's what we thought.
