Epic Series: Shooting through the Petronas Towers

Re-live this ground-breaking wingsuit flight between the famous Petronas Towers in Malaysia.
By Evan David

Standing 451m above Kuala Lumper, the Petronas Towers strike quite the pose over the Malaysian city. But as if they weren't spectacular enough, the Red Bull Air Force team had to go and fly between them.

The stunt – which happened back in 2012 – may not be considered risky by today's standards of proximity wingsuit flying, but nevertheless, it was quite the thrill for pilots Miles Daisher, Jon DeVore, and Othar Lawrence. This wasn't their only feat of the day: they also became the first athletes to proximity fly the Petronas Towers and the nearby KL Tower (421m) on the same day.
