Last month, we set out to find the best #OutdoorOffice in the world. We named it #BeatOurPic and asked you to snap your own epic view and share it with us.
The prize for the best photo was a oncelifetime to New Zealand with an invite to shoot Red Bull Defiance — the perfect opportunity to hone those photo skills.
And the best part? Every entry had two chances to win — the fan vote, and the Editor's Pick.
Some of the submissions you sent us were simply breathtaking. So what are you waiting for? Scroll down now to see who scooped the prize.
The winner of the fan vote
Photographer: Luigi Bottecchia
Where: Tre Cime Di Lavaredo, Italy
What we say: Almost half of you voted for Luigi's stunning image of one of Europe's most iconic peaks.
What he says: “I was working at a trail-running race in one of the coolest places in the world and I was staring at those peaks waiting for the runners. I love Tre Cime Di Lavaredo — it's unique and stunning, which helped me a lot, thanks to the colours and the awesome day I found. I think a lot of people liked my photo because of the simplicity of it. They appreciate the fact that I didn’t develop the photo, and its purity. That’s why I think I had a lot of success."
The winner of the Editor’s Pick
Photographer: Jake Marote
Where: Underwater in Hawaii
What we say: We love Jake's creativity in this photo — especially the "relaxed" office dress code.
What he says: "I always like to think outside of the box and stray away from the ordinary. I live in Hawaii and work as a water photographer, so my office is literally the ocean. To achieve my photo, I used an old broken laptop, printed out a screenshot of a working laptop screen, laminated it and stuck it onto the old laptop screen as if it was a live display. I took the laptop for a swim and weighed myself down using a weight belt so that I wouldn't float up!"
