Cave exploring is pretty intense, as you can see in the video below. You're going places no one has gone before, wedging your body between small gaps in rocks and doing it all far below ground, where no one can hear your calls for help.

Feeling claustrophobic? Not surprising. The video shows cave explorer Kieran McKay and his team as they explored the connection between two New Zealand cave systems — Nettlebed Cave and Stormy Pot. They are located in the Mount Arthur Range, and on the day the explorers set off there was a bit of a storm brewing.

They filmed the documentary 'The Cave Connection – Into the Unknown' during their trip, and lets just say there's a lot of flooding water and it gets pretty intense. We'll leave the exploring to McKay and his team ...
