Hi, my name is Pedro Barros. My discipline is skating transition. My friends call me Pedros. I was born on 16 March 1995 in Florianopolis, Brazil. My special talent is surfing, but I am also learning to play the guitar. The most important person in my life is my dad. My favourite music is Joy Division, Dead Kennedys, Ramones, TSOL, AC/DC, The Clash.

Bio

Pedro Barros is one of the biggest names in Brazilian skateboarding. A protege of the bionic Florianopolis skate scene, he has gone from being the  wunderkind to leading light in his own right.

Having come up under the tutelage of Sandro Dias and Bob Burnquist, Pedro stepped to the US early in the new decade and quickly dominated avery event where transition needed taming. Widely considered to be the best concrete skater of his or possibly any generation, for now it only remains to be seen what markers he can put down within that culture globally as he leaves the field behind.

Horribly unlucky to roll his ankle in the warm up for the Skate Generation contest in his hometown in Brazil in 2015, his insane part in Vans' seminal Propeller video of the same year had to suffice to show what he is currently capable of. As for the future, really who can say? A talent as great as his does not even come along once in a generation, so we are all into uncharted territory here. Watch out for big things from the boy from Brazil.
