Latest stop on the FMB World Tour roars into life this weekend.
One of the most infamous events in freeride, The Bearclaw Invitational, returns to Vancouver Island for the seventh year running.
It's a Gold-rated FMB World Tour event so big points are available and with Brandon Semenuk having taken the win amidst the dust and crowds of the Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx, you can bet it'll be tight at the top.
The course has been designed and built by the man himself, Darren Berrecloth and is amongst the riders favourites of the year. All the big names are present and correct too with the unfortunate exception of Martin Soderstrom who remains in hospital after a massive crash which broke one of his legs at Crankworx.
Also reportedly out is Brett Rheeder with an injury, it looks like his season could be over. It must come as an extreme disappointment as he had a commanding lead in the overall at one stage.
