It rained on and off throughout the weekend at Châtel. This made the track slippery and extremely hard to ride. Ziga Pandur made the most of the sun peeking out on Saturday's seeding run to go second fastest.

Châtel is one of the shorter tracks in the European Downhill Cup series at just 1,500 metres. Germany's Joshua Hein found the course to his liking and came in 27th overall.
Further rain on Sunday made the Châtel track a mud chute. Jacques Bouvet of the Basislager Ghost Racing Team was one among many riders who didn't deal with the conditions well. He finished 53rd in the end.
