It’s almost time for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup season to kick into gear with the first round of the Cross-Country and Downhill races now just under a month from getting under away in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

For 2014, the UCI have mixed things up a little with the nine World Cup rounds taking place over four continents. There's also some new locations added to a World Cup calendar that stretches from April to the end of August.

Australia makes a welcome return to the World Cup circuit after a four-year break with Cairns in Queensland hosting the world elite. Méribel in France is another new venue and it also has the honor of hosting the season finale for the Downhill, Cross-Country and Cross-Country Eliminator World Cups.

Stay tuned to Red Bull Bike for full LIVE coverage of all the UCI World Cup races throughout the season, starting with Pietermaritzburg on April 12.
