You're climbing a mountain with a bicycle on your back, so you'll be wanting a safety rope, right? Well, not if you're Danny MacAskill. As the biker scales the Black Cuillin on the Isle of Skye, he unclips himself – to the astonishment of the film crew – and free climbs to the peak known as the 'Inaccessible Pinnacle'.
This is just one of the amazing perspectives offered on The Ridge in filmmaker Stu Thomson's new set of behind-the-scenes documentaries. The series of four films show how Danny and Stu dealt with the challenges of shooting bike stunts at 3,000 feet above sea level.
Catch the 'Inaccessible Pinnacle' documentary above and check out the three other documentaries, 'The Frontflip,''The Ledge' and 'The Gap,' below. The films are stomach-turning and inspiring in equal measure. Make sure you don't miss them...
