In his global travels, mountain bike legend Aaron Chase comes across many unique experiences. In this episode of "Through My Eyes" he visits Philadephia to compete in a cyclocross event in a junkyard.

Everything is full of sharp glass and metals and batteries and a lot of muddy slime . . . this place is so gnarly.

"Everything is full of sharp glass and metals and batteries and a lot of muddy slime," Chase said of the course conditions at the Bilenky Cyclocross event, "And stuff oozing into it – this place is so gnarly."

Watch the video above to see Chase riding through abandoned vans, caveman drop (a.k.a. ninja drop) from rusty machinery – after getting snaked underneath by buddy George Ryan – and even jump over a car with a partner on an old-school, 20-inch BMX sidehack.
