Go on board with the Colombian super-pinner on race day at the opening UCI World Cup of 2015.
The opening round of the UCI World Cup brought with it an unprecedented level of carnage as it mixed with the high speeds, huge gaps, knife-like rocks and deep loam found in Lourdes, France.
Marcelo Gutiérrez, Colombia's finest, is back with the Giant Factory Off Road Team this year. Although he was able to keep the bike running smoothly, he was forced to settle for 32nd when all was said and done.
Under a new regulation, helmet-mounted cameras are now illegal at the UCI World Cup races, which is why we mounted our GoPro to Marcelo's bars. Check out the video above.
