Red Bull Training Grounds: The 8 Competitors

Meet the eight of the top StarCraft II players in the world who will be competing.

The roster is officially set for Red Bull Training Grounds. Eight top pro StarCraft II players from around the world have been selected to take part in the first-ever tournament at Red Bull North America Headquarters in Santa Monica, California the weekend of June 21.

Here’s a look at the power-packed lineup of StarCraft II stars:

North America

Samuel “Kane” Morrissette, North America, ROOT Gaming

Dan "ViBE" Scherlong, ROOT Gaming

Brandon “puCK” Arlie Qual, ROOT Gaming

Benjamin "DeMusliM" Baker, Evil Geniuses

Kyeong Hyun “SeleCT” Ryoo, Independent

Korea

Bae “Sound” Sang Hwan, StarTale

Myeong Hwan “Golden” Jo, StarTale

Europe

Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, Independent

Red Bull Training Grounds promises to give eSports fans a behind-the-scenes look at the strategies of these pros — a mix between Terran, Protoss and Zerg players as they scrimmage against each other in Blizzard’s RTS and then compete for $5,000 in prize money.
