1. Reginald Back in the Midlane Saddle
With Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg still dealing with visa problems allowing him to compete in the North American LCS, TeamSoloMid is again turning to a familiar face for LCS Super Week.
TSM owner and coach Andy “Reginald” Dinh will again step into the midlane for the League of Legends squad, currently in first place.
Reginald, one of the most popular personalities in pro LoL, announced at the end of 2013 that he was stepping down from his role as the midlaner to become TSM’s coach. The team recruited Bjergsen from Europe, but the former Copenhagen Wolves player has been plagued by international visa issues
2. Does Valve’s Anti-Cheat Software Go Too Far?
Forbes’ Michael Thomsen outlines the case against the Dota 2 developer’s VAC. Last month, some Reddit posters accused Valve of using it to spy on users and look at people’s browser history. It prompted company co-founder Gabe Newell to respond with his own Reddit post to explain that players’ privacy would remain. He said VAC searches for the cheat codes on a computer, and if found, it scans a computer’s DNS cache to see if it’s actually connected to a cheat code server for activation.
