Tom described the qualifying race in Macau as “eventful” after he stalled on the start line at was hit by Harry Tincknell.
Tom recovered from his result in qualifying to finish in the top 10 - “I tried to stay out of trouble and passed a couple of cars, getting me to eighth”

António Félix da Costa put himself in with a shout of retaining his Macau title with a fourth place finish in the qualifying race.
The Red Bull Junior Team driver got past Pipo Derani to take second with Alex Lynn winning the Macau Grand Prix from pole.
