Bell Helmets designed by Texan artists on display at the MotoGP race at the Circuit of the Americas.
For artists, canvases come in all shapes and forms (e.g., Banksy in New York). In the case of 21 Helmets, protective head gear for motorcyclists is the latest medium for creative minds to get expressive with.
Timed with the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas MotoGP race in Austin, Texas, Red Bull and Bell Helmets have collaborated to give 21 artists from Texas a helmet to design. Their only limitation? Their imagination. Joining the group of artists is Chris Wood of Airtrix. The legendary motorcycle painter will design a commemorative Bell Star Carbon helmet paying tribute to the Lone Star State.
For those heading to the race, all of the works of art will be on display in an exclusive gallery in the paddocks of the Circuit of the Americas from April 11-13.
