Bryce Menzies was born a racer on August 21, 1987, in Mesa, Arizona. Growing up riding dirtbikes with his family and friends, he quickly found a passion for racing and the outdoors. Bryce was in the spotlight immediately as he dominated the CORR Single Buggy class, winning the CORR Single Buggy Championship and the CORR Rookie of the Year in 2007.
In 2008, Bryce transitioned from the open-wheel class to the truck class where he finished in the top five on six different occasions, including his first ever professional truck win.
The 2010 season saw Bryce behind the wheel of the Menzies Motorsports Unlimited Pro 2WD race truck, racing the entire season of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Season. After a great year of racing Bryce ended up 3rd place overall in the season. Bryce and the Menzies Motorsports team also brought home the 2010 LOORRS Super Team of the Year award. 2010 also marked a new beginning with Bryce racing the new Menzies/Geiser built Trophy Truck. With top ten finishes in the 2010 Mint 400, Baja 500, Vegas 2 Reno and Parker, Bryce was making a name for himself.
In 2011, Bryce Menzies and his crew started racing in the TORC Short Course series, and with numerous wins, he wrapped up the championship in the Pro 2WD class before the last race. Bryce also raced in the full desert series in the #70 Trophy Truck where he brought home his first-ever Championship in the SCORE Off-Road Racing Series.
Bryce accomplished a feat never been done before in 2012, he successfully defended his TORC Pro 2WD Championship. Bryce ran the number 1 plate on his Trophy Truck during the SCORE Baja 500 and 1000. Unable to race at all three SCORE events, Bryce unfortunately lost his number 1 plate in the desert. Menzies also had the opportunity to race in Rallycross for Travis Pastrana at X Games Los Angeles.
The 2013 season has been just as busy. Bryce competed in the desert for the SCORE San Felipe 250 in March. Bryce switched gears back to short-course, defending his Pro 2WD title in the TORC series. Bryce is also racing in the Global Rallycross series as Travis Pastrana’s teammate.
