Hi, my name is Toby Price. My discipline is Offroad racing. My friends call me Toby. I was born on 18 March 1987 in Hillston, NSW.

There can be few better-liked or more respected offroad motorcycle racers than Toby Price. The rider from Maitland, NSW, has a resumé that reads like a dream list: our Finke wins, five Hattah Desert Race victories, five Australian Off Road Championships and two national enduro championships. He’s represented Australia at four International Six Day Enduros.

In 2015 he made his first attempt at the soul-destroying, 9,000km, 14-day Dakar Rally. A stage win and an overall podium showed the world that this new kid was someone they’d better watch, and the result earned Price a full-time seat on the KTM Factory Red Bull Racing Team.

On his return to the Dakar the following year, Price backed up that initial promise in spectacular style – becoming Australia's first-ever Dakar champion at only his second attempt.

Toby’s now full-time on the global circuit, but racing at home in Australia is still very much in Toby’s mind.

2016 also saw him feature in a documentary of his sometimes emotional road to the top, Paying the Price, with its premiere in Sydney on October 26, 2016.
