We look back to the Frenchman’s 2008 British debut after his Wales Rally GB win last week.
The Wales Rally GB has been an ever-present on the WRC calendar since 1973 but the event dates back to 1932 and used to tour the UK. In 2000, the race has been held in Wales where the emphasis has been on out and out tests of speed through miles of photogenic but slippery gravel-strewn forest tracks. This year, the route begins on the North coast of the peninsular in Llandudno and ends in the Welsh capital Cardiff three days later.
