It’s only days away from Hangtown, so it’s about time to start biting your fingernails. Supercross is over; it’s time to go outside. We all started outside, and there is something to be said about the gladiator factor of hitting a national track wide open for 30+2 versus the 20-lap choreographed dance that is Supercross.
The return of the outdoors marks the return of James Stewart on the #7 RMZ 450. One of only two people ever to go 24-0 in the outdoor nationals (a title he shares with Ricky Carmichael), James knows his way around a track. He finished a perfect 1-1 at Hangtown last year and, by the looks of the hurting he is putting on the SoCal dirt at Milestone, he has his sights on 50 more points this Saturday.
In this clip, James takes you, the loving viewer, through his struggles in SX and the transition to the fourth-gear pinned lifestyle of the Nationals.
