The record number of victories Graham Jarvis hopes to set when he revs up in Sibiu on July 2 for this year's event. Victory would eclipse Cyril Despres’s previous best of three.


Sibiu was ranked the eighth most idyllic place to live by Forbes magazine in 2008. The previous year, it jointly held the title of European Capital of Culture.


It’s the 10th anniversary of the contest and to celebrate the milestone a new prologue is being created, as well as courses which revisit some of the memorable scenes of past renewals.


The age of Wade Young - whose precocious talent won him the Roof of Africa crown last year. He has already proved that was no fluke with a second place behind Graham Jarvis at the King of the Hill in Romania in April.
