Roczen, Osborne and Decotis throw a little two-step flavor at Millville.
Riders often talk about getting “in the zone” on the bike, but not many people outside of the sport can really grasp the concept. For a few brief moments, a rider feels as if the bike knows what he is thinking, and his perfect harmony with the machine allows him to effortlessly do whatever he wants. In this state of motocross zen, it is perfectly natural to throw errant one-footers and flick the backend.
Ryne Swanberg captured three shining examples of this utopic perfection at Spring Creek with Red Bull KTM rider Ken Roczen, GEICO Honda’s Zach Osborne and Honda privateer Jimmy Decotis, as they kick and whip their way into the proverbial “flow” during the morning qualifying sessions.
