Eight of the best off-road racers battle in the first-ever race on a snow-covered ski resort.
Ricky Johnson, Bryce Menzies, Rob MacCachren, Todd LeDuc, Johnny Greaves, Scott Douglas, Carl Renezeder, and Greg Adler. In the world of TORC and LOORS off-road racing, these names are legendary – they are some of the best to ever get behind the wheel of a race truck. This cast of eight have battled on all sorts of rough terrain and are masters of dirt, mud and sand. And as of this past weekend, now snow.
At the inaugural Red Bull Frozen Rush competition, the crew of eight headed to the Sunday River ski resort post-polar vortex. On one side of the slopes were snowboarders and skiers taking advantage of the frigid temperatures and freshly laid snow. On the other, 900-hp Pro 4 trucks raced in a bracketed, single-elimination heads-up format in front of a crowd of 10,000-plus spectators. Safe to say, the trucks owned the resort for the day.
