The Fool's Gold boss is now his own basketball team, all for the sake of the 'Tuna Melt' EP.
A-Trak has an impressive resume. The producer makes music under his own name and as one-half of Duck Sauce. His DJ gigs take him all over the globe. He co-runs Fool's Gold Records ― the label of rappers Danny Brown and Action Bronson, among others ― and he's one of the guest judges for the 2013 Red Bull Thre3Style competition.
Now he can add one-man basketball team to the list.
In the new video for 'Jumbo', a track from last year's 'Tuna Melt' EP that features the Swedish duo Galantis, A-Trak runs around a gymnasium playing basketball with many different clones of himself, all of which are wearing Fool's Gold jerseys. The only other people there are a few cheerleaders, who cheer as the many A-Traks toss around a basketball that refuses to remain the same size.
Later this month, A-Trak's Duck Sauce project with Armand Van Helden is supposed to release a new song titled 'It's You.' When we spoke to A-Trak last year, after a Thre3Style battle in Philadelphia, he said a Duck Sauce full-length album is in the works: "The Duck Sauce LP is gonna be the benchmark. I've never done a full album, so I'm thrilled."
