Debbie Harry, Brian Eno, James Murphy and more in our RBMA highlight reel.
Now that the dust has settled, the instruments have been put in storage, and the participants have flown home, we’re able to look back at the success of Red Bull Music Academy 2013 in a brand-new video. The video explores everything from intimate studio sessions with Four Tet and James Murphy to huge sell-out celebrations of NYC music culture in some of the city’s most iconic venues, such as Roseland Ballroom for Red Bull Culture Clash and The Metropolitan Museum of Art for Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto.
The video captures moments from both private collaborative workshops and the open-to-all events that brought sound and innovation to the streets of New York.
The music from great nights such as the thigh-quivering United States of Bass event, the spectacular 12-year birthday party for New York City’s influential indie label DFA Records and more can be rewound at RBMA Radio.
