Edward Sharpe Is Streaming Their New Album

The California band's third album is triumphant, soulful and streaming in its entirety.

For a limited time only, NPR is streaming the new album by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. The self-titled album, the band's third full-length, will be officially released on July 23 by Vagrant and Rough Trade Records.

Much like the singles we've heard from so far – the triumphant 'Better Days' and the soulful 'This Life' – 'Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros' is a decidedly joyous affair. It lives for big horns and rollicking highs, such as 'Let's Get High' and 'Country Calling.' But with tunes like 'Remember To Remember' and 'Please!,' which would sound at home on George Harrison's 'All Things Must Pass,' the band proves it can groove soothingly, too.

The band is currently on tour in Europe, but will return to the US for some shows in late-July. Among the dates, are stops at FloydFest, XPoNential Music Festival, and LouFest.
