After years apart, Pusha T and No Malice reunite for a fresh Clipse track.
Clipse, the Virginia rap duo of Pusha T and No Malice, has been silent since 2009's 'Til The Casket Drops.' Both rappers have been busy focusing on their respective solo careers: Pusha's 'My Name Is My Name' should be out later this year on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, and No Malice's 'Hear Ye Him' mixtape is due August 18.
Given this long separation, it's a surprise that Clipse has reuinted for 'Shame The Devil,' a track from No Malice's 'Hear Ye Him.' Though the production doesn't have the magic of the Neptunes beats Clipse made its name rapping on, it's good to see the duo back in action.
In addition to his old Clipse partner Pusha T, also set to appear on 'Hear Ye Him,' No Malice's debut solo project, are Re-Up Gang affiliates Ab-Liva and Fam-Lay. Though No Malice alluded to the possibility of a Clipse project in a recent inteview with Billboard, nothing has been confirmed.
