Kanye's 'Yeezus' Tour Will Feature Kendrick Lamar

The 'Yeezus' rapper is doing his first solo tour in five years, but will he bring Kendrick to NYC?

Kanye West is hitting the road in support of his recent album 'Yeezus,' it was announced on his website this morning. It will be his first solo tour in five years, but that may not be the most remarkable thing about the announcement. This is: Kendrick Lamar will be the supporting act at most of the venues.

Kanye and Kendrick will be, without a doubt, the most dynamic and volatile combination to hit the road together since Hunter S. Thompson and five sheets of acid. Kanye, who has performed recently at The Governors Ball and the MTV VMAs, calls himself, well, a god and Steve of the Internet.

Kendrick, meanwhile, is still feeling the backlash of his powerful verse in Big Sean's song 'Control,' in which he calls himself the King of New York, while challenging his peers to step up their game (though he does not mention Yeezus). This is going to be some tour, though it's disappointing that Kendrick won't be making the shows in Brooklyn and Madison Square Garden. See all the dates below:
