Summer has barely unofficially ended and we're starting to feel the buzz of the holiday blockbusters. Today, Coldplay dropped the lyric video for 'Atlas,' their contribution to 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' soundtrack.
According to MTV, this is the first time Coldplay has contributed a song to a motion picture soundtrack. The British group, however, has used their music for Oxfam. Yes, shocker. Last May, Coldplay released an acoustic version of 'In My Place' to highlight the problem of "land grabs," whereby corporations in developing countries boot families out of their homes to use the land to grow food.
Meanwhile, 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' comes out November 22. Advance tickets go on sale October 1. You've been warned.
