On Saturday night, an Eazy-E hologram took the stage with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony to kick off the first night of Rock the Bells, in San Bernardino. The late rapper's hologram performed several songs by N.W.A., the gangster rap group he co-founded with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, including 'Straight Outta Compton' and 'Boyz-N-The-Hood.' Watch above.
Then, on Sunday night at Rock the Bells, an Ol Dirty Bastard hologram came out to perform with his living Wu-Tang Clan mates Method Man, Ghostface Killah, RZA and Raekwon. Fuse.tv reports that the sound was so terrible Method Man threatened to walk off stage. He blamed Rock The Bells founder Chang Weisberg for the fiasco. Watch below.
Over the next few weeks, Rock the Bells soldiers on to San Francisco (Sept. 14-15), Washington, D.C. (Sept. 28-19), and New York (Oct. 4-5). Maybe the Wu-Tang Clan and its ODB hologram will have better luck next time.
