The British singer puts her soulful touch on 'Mirrors' for BBC Radio 1.
When it comes to saturating the media, Ellie Goulding has a secret weapon. In addition to releasing another edition -- this time the Deluxe Edition -- of 'Halcyon Days' in August and dominating the festival circuit (in the States and abroad) the 26-year-old British singer has the unparalleled skill of dropping stunning cover versions of unlikely songs. She's tackled Elton John, Dolly Parton and Rihanna -- all wonderfully -- and a few months back she did a soulful version of Alt-J's 'Tesselate.' The other day on BBC Radio 1, she covered Justin Timberlake's 'Mirrors.' It's a little more obvious choice than Dolly, but Goulding still makes it her own and leaves us hungry for another.
