Listen to an official version of 'Work B**ch,' released after a low-quality leak popped up online.
Britney Spears was expected to release 'Work B**ch,' presumably the first single off her upcoming album, on Monday. It was poised to be the glorious culmination of an elaborate release scheme that included a countdown clock on her website and coordinated schedule between iHeartRadio and iTunes.
But the Internet had other plans.
The pop diva tweeted this morning, "Woke up today and saw that a low quality version of Work Bitch had leaked :("
In response to the online leak, Spears's team released a "high-quality" version of the song Sunday afternoon.
The song, which you can play above, has club banger written all over it, which isn't a surprise given the five artists and producers -- yes, five -- who wrote it, a notable team topped by Will.i.am and Sebastian Ingrosso (formerly of the Swedish House Mafia).
The high-profile release coincides with other big Britney news. Miley Cyrus recently announced that the two collaborated on a song, 'SMS,' for her forthcoming album, 'Bangers.' The 'Wrecking Ball' singer said of the song: "It’s a fast one, it’s got to be! It’s Britney, bitch!"
