Listen to the 'N Sync survivor's new song from his upcoming 'The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2' LP.
'Take Back The Night' was the first single from Justin Timberlake's second full-length album of the year, 'The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2,' out September 30. Today, Timberlake has shared the second single, 'TKO.'
At just over 7-minutes-long, 'TKO' is an epic tale of Timerlake being knocked out by love told over a banging Timbaland beat. "I'm out for the count, yeah girl you knock me out," he sings on the chorus. Poor guy.
In other JT news, Timberlake appeared on the cover of last week's New York Times Style Magazine T. The profile weaves through Timberlake's past, from the Mickey Mouse Club to 'N Sync to a triumphant solo career to 'Saturday Night Live' to 'The Social Network' to touring with Jay Z to 'The 20/20 Experience' to 'The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2.' Phew.
When asked about how the second installation of 'The 20/20 Experience' compares with the first, Timberlake had this to say:
“If you could imagine you’re 16 and she’s everything you thought. She’s Marilyn Monroe and then you meet her older sister; everything that’s dark and wrong about her at that age is why you become infatuated with her.”
"Dark." "Wrong." "Infatuated." This must be the woman who knocked Timerlake out in 'TKO.' Sounds like a good time.
