Omar Souleyman, the Syrian musician who is credited with bringing a whole new party vibe to weddings throughout the Middle East with his Shaabi street sound, rocked up at the Teatro Kapital in Madrid last weekend for the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender.
Riding high on the new release of 'Wenu Wenu,' his debut studio album -- he's actually credited with 500 bootleg recordings from his many wedding gigs -- which was produced by Kieran Hebden, a.k.a. Four Tet, the electrifying entertainer is on undoubtedly on the rise. See what all the fuss is about in the live performance clip above.
