Mac Miller is calling himself Delusional Thomas and Delusional Thomas is an insane person.
The young Pittsburgh rapper has a new alter-ego: Delusional Thomas. And Delusional Thomas now has a wild, totally-bananas, totally-bloody new mixtape. It features production by Mac under the name Larry Fisherman, and has guest appearances by Earl Sweatshirt and Da$H.
Mac's vocals are pitched-up and silly as Delusional Thomas, who is a violent, sketchy, twisted little dude. On 'Larry,' he is chasing you with a bow and arrow. On 'Halo,' he takes no prisoners. On 'Bill,' the track with Earl and Da$H, Thomas turns his weapons on himself for a brutal session of self-criticism.
Is it a coincidence that Mac has unleashed such a weird new alter-ego and gonzo mixtape just a few days before Eminem is set to drop 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2?' Probably not. After all, Eminem is the king of the alter-ego rappers and Mac Miller wants to play the game too.
This is Mac's first release since he dropped 'Watching Movies With The Sound Off' earlier this year. It is not clear if Delusional Thomas will continue to live after this mixtape. But, for now, we are terrified. Stream it above and download it here.
