Arcade Fire are in the final weeks of their Reflektor tour; the last date is in their hometown of Montreal. A couple of weeks ago, the band dropped by the Red Bull Sound Space at KROQ, where they played a very intimate set (200 fans) and engaged in a fun Q&A with KROQ DJs Kevin and Bean.
When asked if 'Reflektor' was intentionally different in style from the band's previous albums, frontman Win Butler said, "It takes us about three to four years for us to make an album... you're pretty different when you graduate college from when you start college, so every four years everyone hopefully changes, evolves. So it feels natural for us. We knew it was a bit of a departure, but we wanted to do something different."
