Cannabinoids + Outfit, TX - 'Spic & Span' Premiere

The Cannabinoids ( Erykah Badu's band) and rap group The Outfit, TX performed together last year at a Red Bull Sound Select show, and the two Dallas groups recently connected to work together on a new song. Today we're excited to premiere the fresh collaborative track, 'Spic & Span,' which is streaming below.
"'Spic & Span' was tailor made for The Outfit, TX," says The Cannabinoids member Picnic. "They're also producers on their own so it was a rare opportunity to have them create over other people's beats. Creating the song came easy after performing with them at a Red Bull Sound Select show and building that relationship. They were just as excited to make a track as we were. We just pretty much threw them the beat and trusted that they'd do what they do best... and they did."
"Having the opportunity to play live with them and feel their energy on stage added another dimension to the recording experience," adds The Cannabinoids' Rob Free.

In Outfit, TX news, the trio played a Sound Select show last week with TDE rapper Isaiah Rashad -- see photos here -- and they have another coming up in Atlanta on October 11 with Geto Boys veteran Scarface. On September 20, along with Nas, Boredoms and Public Enemy, The Cannabinoids will be performing with Erykah Badu at StarFes '14, in Tokyo, Japan. The Cannabinoids are also working on a new EP titled 'Stimuli.' So keep you ears open.
