Judah & the Lion, the folk-rap-rock band from Nashville whose latest album is titled "Folk Hop N' Roll," recently played Bonnaroo. Here's what mandolinist Brian Macdonald had to say about the experience: "As far as Bonnaroo goes, if having fun was illegal, then we would for sure be serving a life sentence, along with everyone who was at the stage with us."
Speaking of criminal amounts of fun, you gotta see Judah & the Lion's new music video for "Take It All Back 2.0," which we are happy to premiere today.
About "Take It All Back," Macdonald says, "It's our way of saying that our successes do not define us as people. We would give up everything we do to have the things that matter most to us: love, friends, family, ice cream."
Push play above to see the video, which shows the band on the road during their last tour, including footage from their Bonnaroo performance. That scene where Judah goes out into the crowd and gets on someone's shoulders? That's his dad! How cool is that?
Judah & the Lion will be taking this same fun vibe and high energy on the road with them in the very near future, so don't miss it. The dates are below, including a stop at Audiotree Music Festival and a Nashville gig with Ben Harper.
