Gallant Has Car Trouble in 'Skipping Stones' Video

The chemistry between the singer and Jhené Aiko can only be described as explosive.

Gallant had one hell of a 2016. Since releasing his debut album — the critically acclaimed “Ology” — in April, the LA-based artist toured the world, made his television debut on “The Tonight Show” and shared the stage with musical heavyweights like Sufjan Stevens, Seal and Sir Elton John. Yeah, he killed it.
Back at the beginning of summer, though, Gallant was in a warehouse near downtown Los Angeles, filming the music video for “Skipping Stones” — his smoldering duet with Jhené Aiko, who performed during Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in LA. On the longest (and what seemed like the hottest) day of the year, both Aiko and Gallant donned their finest all-white outfits and worked with the video’s directors, American Millennial, to create the dreamy final product that you can watch below.
While the drama within “Skipping Stones” escalates quickly, the video’s stars seem to have nothing but fond memories of the late-night filming:
