It’s not too often a kid like Aidan Campbell comes out of a place like Rancho San Margarita, California. An enclave of stucco houses and strip males it sits at the south of Orange County tucked away in a world of it’s own. It’s rare an all terrain skater like him emerges from the area rich with perfect spots, perfect weather and the entire industry at it’s fingertips. Motivate, humble, educated and a personality beyond his years, it will be a name you’ll undoubtedly see more in the future.

You're on the Pretty Sweet US tour, how’s the trip going so far?
Right now we are driving to Atlanta and it’s awesome, man. Skating with all these dudes is so much fun.

Any good stories from the trip?
The trunk boyz freestyling is pretty funny.

So your from Rancho Santa Margarita describe what it’s like where you live to people who don’t know the area.
It’s a small suburban town, not too much going on. There’s a national forest about 100 yards from my house so that’s really cool.

You’ve got an epic skate van, how many miles would you say you put on that bad boy every month?
I would have to guess I put around 1000 miles on it a month! I have the mini van and it’s got room for a lot of people so I just always end up driving.

This past April you went to China with the Etnies team for about a month, was that your first time to China? How was it?
It was my first time so it was a total culture shock. Couldn’t talk to anyone besides the crew I was with so, it was pretty crazy. There’s the best skate spots I’ve ever been to there but it was also rained almost every day, it was bitter sweet.

Speaking of travelling with the Etnies team, do you have any epic Sheckler stories from the road?
I’ve only been on one trip with Sheckler, we went to Austin during South by Southwest and he got me into a bar that was pretty epic, until the next morning.

What are some of your favorite places to travel?
The east coast is probably my favorite right now.

Are you working on anything right now?
At the moment I’m working on a little video part for Etnies hopefully to release later this year.
