The Pirates are back with Red Cameras, dollies, steady cams and helicopters... you name it!
The Austrian Pirates have always produced very nice and interesting snowboard movies, as they used quite several different techniques of filming and editing.
I remember that, since the early days, they filmed everything with old Super 8mm cameras, then they passed through black&white rolls or even 16mm equipments.
Now it's time for them to upgrade it all and pass on to Red cameras, dollies, steady cams and helicopters, as they justified it this way:
After the great success of "Unique8" the goal was to top the production values and bring you an unforgettable snowboard viewing experience either on the big screen in cinemas or on your laptop screen.
No matter what tech they use, the Pirate Movie Production is once again atop the snowboarding movie rankings with their new "Distorted Reality", and we all can't wait for the final release of it, joining a surreal trip with a tight group of riders such as Gigi Rüf, Marco Feichtner, Kalle Ohlson, Elias Elhardt, Fredrik Evensen, Sami Luhtanen, Werni Stock, Niels Schack and Martin Kalijola.
