Victoria Azarenka Goes Back to Minsk

Before her match-up against Serena Williams at the US Open Final, Vika headed back to her hometown.

Before she became one of the top tennis players in the world, Victoria Azarenka learned how to play tennis at the age of 7 by pounding the ball against a defenseless wall at the National Tennis Center In Minsk, Belarus.

Earlier this year, she went back to her hometown with The Red Bulletin magazine to visit the center and be around the one person who inspired her to be great, her grandmother.

"I think all athletes go through a difficult period some time in their career," she said to, "I took some time to really think about some things and my grandmother played such an important role in helping me realize just how much of love the game."
