Ahead of the return of Red Bull Air Race in 2014, we look back at the best images from events past.

A lofty mix of precision, skill, speed and some face-altering g-forces, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship takes to the wing once more in 2014, after a three-year hiatus. In readiness for the spectacle's long-awaited return, we look back at some of the best moments from previous editions.
