When Harrison Barnes is healthy and playing starter minutes, the Golden State Warriors are a better basketball team. That's saying something, considering the Warriors currently have a league-best 35-2 record.

Still rounding back into game shape after missing 16 games with an ankle injury, the forward hopes to keep the injury behind him in 2016. The obvious goal (and expectation of many) is for the Warriors to repeat as NBA champions. But what does Barnes want to accomplish personally this year?

RedBull.com: Do you have any New Year's traditions?

Harrison Barnes: For New Year's, I always try and write down a few things that I want to accomplish or make a habit in the coming year.

What has been your all-time favorite New Year's resolution?

My favorite New Year's resolution was to win a championship, and that was accomplished last season!

Do you have a personal New Year's resolution for 2016? Have one for your career?

One of my New Year's resolutions this year is to journal more. It doesn't have to be every day or every week, but whenever something big is going on in my life — good or bad.
