Magic Wands; The Barcelona, By Christian Bradley

Oh, to bask in the fruits of the Mediterranean, on a board named so appropriately. Like, perfection!

Look at that thing. Y'ever seen anything cuter? It's as pretty as the Mediterranean, which is exactly what it's designed for. See, the Barcelona was dreamt up by Mr Christian Bradley after being asked if he could design a board for team riders from the Mediterranean sea – specifically with the waves of Barcelona in mind. That means smaller, wind-generated waves, requiring immediate reaction from a board to fit into tight areas.

"The board has been mixed with very flat rocker and regulated curves specifically designed for performance surfing in these types of conditions," says CB. "Rocker is FLAT under foot with V-Double concave running to the very wide tail which has a subtle flip rolling out the tail for critical turns. Fins are positioned WAY back for control of the very wide square tail also giving extra drive. Use larger fins."

This little breeze is best ridden in the two-four foot range by, well, someone intermediate or better. Best complimented by some post-surf paella and sangria.
