It ain't just a clever name – Channel Islands' new model is perfect for the average Joe.
Channel Islands' latest board model, the Joe, is easy to ride and easy to love. Sure, you might not see this under the feet of a world tour competitor during the upcoming event at Lowers. But, you will see it under the feet of every nine-to-fiver squeezing a few waves in on dark after the event's wrapped for the day. This board is built for the everyman.
Channel Islands' description is just excellent: "Over the last six years and hundreds of CI Demo Tour Stops we have learned a few things. Sometimes surfers just want something simple, fun, and easy to ride. The Average Joe is geared towards the things that make surfing fun; Increase wave count, and making more sections. While Channel Islands is first and foremost a performance based and athlete driven company, not everyone’s next paycheck hinges on their equipment."
