The last stop on the 2013 ASP World Tour went out with a bang — a bang which we adored.

234,981: Times the phrase "Super Bowl of Surfing" was used to describe the event (down, set, hike).

172: Times the surfers were compared to gladiators in the Coliseum when describing the event (just gross).

3: 10-point rides in the event (perfection lives where bravado meets technique).

4: Out of the top 10 scores belonged to Mr. Robert Kelly Slater.

9.7: Score of Mick Fanning's world title deal-sealer (what heroics in the dying seconds of not just one heat, but two, and back-to-back!).

3: Champions on the final day (Mick won the title, Kelly won the comp and John won the crown).

10: Size, in feet, of the waves on the final day (Hawaiian scale, of course).

250: Points separating Mick from Kelly in the final 2013 rankings (closest it's been in years).

3: Months until the first event of 2014 (the dreaded off-season is here).
