For over 40 years, flying has been Jorge Malatini's life. His first job at home in the small town of Carlos Casares, Argentina, was sweeping the floors and washing planes for a small aircraft company and he's been pursuing a life in the skies for over 40 years since.
As soon as he could, Jorge learned to fly, taking a job aerial spraying crops and then undertaking mammoth solo flights to deliver single-engined planes all the way from the Untied States to fund his studies to become a commercial pilot. It's a dream he achieved and Jorge was a pilot for Argentina's national flag carrier Aerolíneas Argentinas for 30 years.
It's in the world of aerobatic flying where Jorge's made his name however, becoming one of the pioneers of the sport in Argentina in the 1980s and early 90s.
It was after buying his first stunt plane in 1996 that Jorge's aero career really took off, though, and ever since he's been wowing thousands of people at a time across Argentina and South America with his skills, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. Not surprising for man who readily admits to feeling more at home in the skies than on sold ground.
